RELAY CONFERENCE CAPTIONING (RCC)

HOW TO RESERVE RCC

Relay Conference Captioning service is available
8:00 am to 6:00 pm EST, Monday-Friday.

STEP 1:

  • Get the teleconference bridge and access code,
    if needed, for your event (conference call or webinar).

 

  • Book RCC at least 48 hours in advance (2 business days). 
    We will make our best effort to cover events requested with
    less than 2 business days, but cannot be guaranteed.  

STEP 2:

 

  • Complete the online reservation form. 

 

  • Within one business day, you will receive a confirmation email with the Event ID and link.   
     

  • Save this confirmation email.

STEP 3:

  • The captioner will join the event through the teleconference bridge approximately 10 minutes prior to the event.
     

  • A few minutes prior to the event, click on the link in your confirmation email.
     

  • Begin reading the captions.
     

  • If you prefer to speak directly to the other attendees during the event, join the teleconference bridge.   Otherwise, use “Message to Captioner” text box to communicate with other attendees.

Captioning Accuracy

For the most efficient captioning, please submit information such as names of attendees, agenda, speakers’ notes, PowerPoints by replying to your confirmation email prior to your scheduled conference call or webinar.

Canceling RCC Service 

Email RCC@sprint.com with your Event ID to let us know of the cancellation.

to individuals, who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech

disability, living or working in New Jersey. If you are unable to provide

a verifiable home or work phone number with a valid area code and

prefix, you are not eligible to use this service.
